Trouble Removing Toner After Etching

I’ve etched a couple pieces in aluminum using the marker method and it works great. After the etch the marker can be removed with normal rubbing alcohol.

My question is how to remove toner? I’ve tried alcohol, acetone and even automotive brake cleaner and can’t get it off.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
