A Tip for Gathering up Beads by Margaret Hobbs - featured on Jewelry Making Journal

I use a plastic lid, covered with felt, to work on when creating a new beaded design.

When I finish, there are often several beads left to clear away, before starting a new creation.

I use a piece of thin cardboard, folded in three, to gather up the beads and pour them back into the bags I keep them in.

I find this quicker and easier than trying to pick up each bead separately! Just thought this tip might help someone else.
