Your ribbon necklace is adorable! I love the colors & textures. The little story boards are so unique. Adorable! ^_^

It didn’t start out quite so dark, but the more I worked with it, the more I thought about how I really felt about the book. Someone else commented that the black silk ribbon reminded her of Alice’s headband, too. It’s wonderful to hear what other’s ‘see’ in this piece.

The black ribbon gives it a vintage feel that almost reminds me of the tradition of wearing black (or a black ribbon) after someone’s death.

And the small red beads not only balance the black perfectly – but they also recall the Queen of Hearts character.

And I love the way you’ve incorporated pictures and text from the book – really cool and very fitting on this necklace!

There are so many fans of the Alice story – and of Alice art – that I think this wonderfully unique piece will easily find a very appreciative home!
