  • Suzanne, your tatting is lovely. Not only is the needlework meticulous, but the overall interlocking design of the shamrock is intricate. Love the addition of the pearls! And great textures on the fold-formed cuff!

  • Sue Shade says:

I love both forms of your work. The contrast made me think of the song lyric ‘give to me your leather take from me my lace.’ Such a great range of skills.

  • Tamara says:

What a beautiful tatted shamrock, Suzanne! Love the pearls added to it!

  • Katie Murphy says:

    Wonderful song lyric too!

  • Nancy Vaughan says:

Beautiful work! I haven’t seen any tatted work since the middle sixties and I glad to see it is making a comeback. I’m the proud owner of two pillow cases with very delicate lace on them.

  • Alysen says:

My Mom tatted when her hands could still do intricate things, up until age 87! She tried to teach her 5 daughters, but to no avail. I have crocheted though and like it. She’s 96 now and has turned to puzzles.

  • Alysen, I too enjoy crochet – and like you, tatting is beyond me. And like your Mom, I love puzzles too!
