Summery Mother of Pearl Layered Earrings

Tired of winter, I purchased these bottom and top drilled light aqua mother of pearl (MOP) disks from a local craft store because they reminded me of the beach.
For each earring, I made, then connected, a 4mm pearl dangle to a handmade 7.5 mm jump ring, attached the ring to the top hole of a small, hammered gold round connector and threaded the ring through the top hole of the aqua MOP disk.
To the bottom hole of the hammered gold connector I added a length of baby rolo chain (long enough to meet the bottom hole of the MOP disk), then threaded the bottom link of the chain on a second jumpring and put both through the bottom hole of the aqua disk.
Keeping the jump ring open, I added a second 4mm pearl dangle to the ring , then closed the jump ring. A handmade earwire completes the summery look . Repeat to make the second earring.

These are pretty, Joy … good idea for covering that bottom hole!
I love the idea to attach the chain on the bottom. Lovely.
