I use ribbon and Velcro along the top to hang items on (from earring cards, to greeting cards, to hair accessories. In the bottom I divide up the space with plain boxes. Stained to match the interior of the case, or in brand colours, they make the perfect place to put other similar stock, and then storage (the lids close well) for the items on display when the show is over. The display then becomes instant storage, which easily transports to the car. The vintage feel off the suitcase goes with my ‘vintage styled’ items, too! Wish I had moe of the suitcases!!! Love them. You can even open them up sideways if you want both sides with ribbon for more room to hang things from.

I stand it up on it’s end and have glued rows of ribbon on each side to hang the cards on. It works really well and looks good, too.

I used the same roll method for a ring display. Worked out great. I would also be careful not to use anything to “showy”, so it doesn’t take the eye away from the product.

You may need to experiment with a new lining if you want your carded earrings to “hang” on the top of the suitcase when it is open, and/or try stuffing the bottom with strips of rolled batting (or other material) covered with material pushed down between the rolls so that your cards can “stand up.” I can sort of see in my mind what I’m trying to describe but having a hard time saying it. lol

Good luck with your show and your new suitcase!
