Stretched Beading Wire: How Do I Avoid This?

I made a necklace for myself, and I decided to use wire instead of thread to avoid the eventual pulling and stretching of the threads. In about three weeks or so, I saw the same problem and now there is a space between my finding and the last bead.

What am I doing wrong?
