Don’t have a hair straightener. Wonder if just a heat gun and heating with some heavy weight at the end would work?
What a fantastic idea. Thank you for sharing. This was driving me crazy a few months ago and I stopped the design because of it. Oh, how wonderful, I can return to it and finish it now.

A straightening tool won’t melt the nylon clear cord (like fishing line?) Realize you would just do it for a few seconds (I assume.) I have a pearl and clear cord Necklace this really cool that I want to straighten out. I’m so afraid to use something on it for fear of melting the cord!

Would you provide instructions for making the hand knotted freshwater pearl necklaces in the photos above? Specifically, I am wondering what technique you use for evenly spacing the beads as shown in the pics.

Hi Michelle,
Oh my gosh I have been struggling with this for so long.
Getting the ironing board out hooking my iron up which somehow is leaking and it’s either too hot or not enough. This little tool is sitting in the other room right now and I never even thought of it!
