PClifford: Soutache Anyone?

I’ve just discovered soutache bead embroidery.

Is anyone else trying their hand at it?

  • Gorgeous, Pauline! This design is hypnotic – my eyes keep traveling over the fascinating curves and pathways of blues and greens. Lovely beadwork along with the soutache embroidery technique. I’ve never tried this – do you draw your design in advance, or just let it develop on its own as you create?

  • I make soutache for already 2 years. It is amazing technique, but you need to have a lot of patience and be precise. One set of earrings and necklace is hours of work. But what you get at the end is just fantastic!!

  • Wow, your work is amazing! I have so much admiration for the combination of creativity and patience that goes into each one.
