Thank you Rena.
Any thoughts on good sources for druzy stones? I need druzy connectors mainly. I have checked Etsy and not found quite what I need.
Thanks!!

I get all my dyed howlite skulls from http://www.nelsongemstones.com. They’ve either got holes sufficiently large (occasionally might need a bit of reaming out) for stringing on 1.5mm black leather in particular. Great price and colour range, too. Joanne’s also has the best selection of plain and faceted rounds of different diameters across each stone — I haven’t found this selection anywhere and she’s always expanding her selection.

Happy Mango Beads, ditto, especially for pewter skulls; Magpie Gemstones for skulls and fetishes; Mama’s Minerals especially for carved, drilled semi-precious skull beads of different sizes; large range of base metal skull beads at Artonbeads.net; ummmmmm…

Ebay is a great place to find gemstones and skull beads. Since there is a lot of competition there, prices are great. You will find a variety of stone grades here as well. I use skull beads in some work and prefer the look of machine cut. Sometimes the handcut is too messy looking. Good luck! ~Val

I think Happy Mango Beads (www.happymangobeads.com) might be right up your alley. I also use Beadmaster (www.beadmasterusa.com) for basic supplies, and their customer service is fantastic. Beads and Pieces (www.beadsandpieces.com) also has a lot of interesting materials and shapes. Good luck with your work!
