Skeleton Key Pendants with Polymer Clay
These 3 pieces were made from old skeleton keys and polymer clay.
I wrapped the keys in black, green, and purple clay, and two have my signature rose and petals.
The center one has an animal eye with vines and leaves.
Before baking them I used a powdered paint that is metallic – blue with the black, silver for the green, and a coppery gold for the purple.
Then I baked them in the oven 275 degrees for 20 minutes.
And last, put a matte finish and chain.
I love how they turned out.
The next picture is from my Mourning Jewelry line, made with polymer clay and the metallic powder paint.
This one is a brooch. My version of Victorian mourning jewelry
