My friends who have pierced ears have tried these on. Everyone has asked if there is something that is decorative that could be placed on the unadorned wire after it is in the ear for a more cohesive look. Are there any decorative ear nuts or a way to make them or to turn a bead into an ear nut?
Thanks so much. I look forward to your newsletters all the helpful ideas they contain.

Thank you so much, Dianne! And great idea to use these earrings for freebies, especially since many folks haven’t seen this style before. Have a wonderful trip! 🙂

Sherri, thank you for your lovely comment! I love your ideas for embellishing these earrings, especially the Swarovski butterfly beads – the butterflies will look like they’re in flight! 🙂 And thank you for appreciating the newsletter issues. <3

Alternatively, you could ball one end of the wire. I’ve been trying to think of something to offer free with purchase but all my ideas were a bit costly. This is perfect! Also, I leave next week for a 3 week cross country road trip and a few of these in different colors would be elegant, easy and comfy! Your newsletters are awesome Rena!

I love the simplicity of these. They’re quite elegant. Thank you for the tutorial. When I get the time, I plan to make some pairs in silver and copper. (I knew I’d been saving up all my silver wire for something,,,and now I know! (Sometimes it’s nice to have a break from bead weaving.) I think the copper ones would look pretty with some simple pink seed beads and/or some shaped crystals, and maybe just flatten the end of the wire to hold them on. (I have more Swarovski butterfIy crystal beads than I know what to do with, and I think I just found out what to do with them!!) I always enjoy your newsletters. I learn something new with each one…and I think, why didn’t I think of that!? I also have plenty “I had no idea!” moments. Thank you for the work you put into your newsletters, it’s very appreciated. : )
