Simple Snowflake Earrings

I mentioned these earrings in the latest Coffee with Rena, and decided to show them. I guess I’m following Rena’s glittering snowflake theme. 🙂 I found them a little difficult to photograph due to the iridescence and sparkle of them.

These didn’t start out as snowflakes. They were just meant to be simple, inexpensive little lace earring for my sales, that I cut out of a piece of ivory cotton lace. But once I saw them on earwires, they looked like snowflakes to me. So I changed the earwires from antique bronze to silver and added sparkle. I made several pairs of these.

Voila, glittering snowflakes! We’ll see on Saturday how the public likes them.
