To answer your questions Susan, the pieces are all one of a kind to keep the creative juices flowing ;o) I once had an offer to make 55 necklaces for a Sweet Adeline group – just had to decline. Since this isn’t a business, I charge enough to cover my costs and don’t include a paycheck. I would rather sell ten sets at $10 each than one at $100! I also do beaded necklaces, so I’m sure you spend a decent amount of time in designing them. How are you able to sell them so cheaply? Are you not paying yourself for your time? I’m thinking that if you sell a lot of the same design, that in itself would bring down the price, whereas I only make one or two of the same design. Is that it? You seem to be quite successful.

I suggest to my customer that she can give them away as a gift. If the problem is that she doesn’t have pierced ears, I can change them to clip/screw in two minutes flat. I have a roundup of just earrings and have been playing with wire wrapping.

I can see why your sets sell so well, Linette! I know a lot of women appreciate the opportunity to have coordinating earrings with their necklaces. Do you split up the sets if a customer wants only the necklace or only the earrings?
