Oh my…my mother did the same, but in the 60’s. And we live in FL. In fact I still have one or two she made, plus some of the shells…want to do something with them, but don’t know what….

Bev, you are so fortunate to have some of these gorgeous pieces that your Mother made. They are so detailed and delicate looking. And what an interesting part of history they are – showing the use of alternative jewelry materials during and after World War 2. Fascinating! Thank you for sharing these.
