You don’t get the best deal but it might be a way to offload your beads and make some money back.

Lee, you might try some of the Facebook destash groups. Also you may find some helpful tips in this post (and the comments below it): How to Destash Jewelry Components.

I have cases and case of beads and jewelry supplies, tools, etc that I no longer use that I just want to get ride of and get some of my money back that I have put into it. It’s called a tax resale certificate- also once you get those roseco.com, rio grande also. I am a jewelry wholesaler and designer.

Good luck!

Congratulations either way – I know there are places in the country where jewelry makers don’t have access to supplies. The only input I can give you is I have a friend who owns a bead store and she has suppliers that sell only to shop owners or people with a business license. There’s also resources like wholesale markets, one that’s closest to me is the Dallas Market, but there again you need a business license to get true wholesale, in addition to sometimes having to buy in quantity. You might check into what it takes to get a business license in your state. Maybe someone else has other alternatives for you.
