It happened again.

Someone said that pursuing a career in art is no way to make a living, and that if you want to be prosperous, you should seek other, “safer” avenues.

When you are told that your passion, your very basis of joy and fulfillment is a waste of time, what does that do to the psyche?

You feel that you are “less than.”

Imagine a world without art of any kind. Would you still tell a child that art is a pointless endeavor?

In the face of life, it is difficult to stand strong for what you are.

What you feel in your soul is your true north. Pursue it mightily.

Be a force of nature.
Your passion is the light of the world.
Rage against the dying of the light.
