Rustic Saffron Spikes

Rustic Saffron spikes

These are beautiful orange-saffron dyed natural stone (I think). I bought them at the Tucson Gem Show a couple of years back.

I loved them as soon as I set my eyes on them and so had to have them. However, they were too loud a color for me when I just started making jewelry.

I was more into muted tones but now I have moved out of that phase and decided to use them in my statement jewelry. I stung them up using copper spacer beads in between.

The two black orange beads on either side of the center design are handmade (by me) paper beads. The cord used is brown suede with a toggle claps.
