Do you need a dab of adhesive in the end knots? They look loose and the cords are thick, so I’m wondering if the knots will hold. What do you think?

I love this idea Rena! I made my first one last night! I used a donut made of a manmade glass called Goldstone and I made my very first wire clasp! I simply must let you see it! I used the same cord only the color matches the goldstone bead. Once again, I’m creating with wire thanks to you!!!

Thanks Rena for sharing. This is such a fun project to make. According to my husband, you’ll not find ‘copper’ washers that easily. He suggested going to a car maintenance or a repair shop for the copper washer, any other suggest?

Rena, I have attempted to make these clasps but they keep turning out too small or too big and clasp and loop are out of proportion to one another. These are just the thing for all my grand daughters. I have some washers that I painted purple and turquoise and some purple and turquoise suede lace. I think I’ll make some copper and black for my grandsons. They are grade schoolers but they like all kinds of bracelets.
