“Rhapsody in Blue”, some of our hand fabricated etched earrings.

We create our metalwork for these earrings completely from scratch, hand sawing (and sometimes punching) the earring pieces from sheet copper.

The pieces are thoroughly cleaned, then the designs hand drawn.

After etching takes place, the pieces are re-cleaned, then oxidized, then steel wool polished…. many steps involved!

These earrings have round discs with bold, geometric designs & are topped with frothy clusters of blue gemstone…lapis, aquamarine & iolite.

The clusters are nestled snugly between sterling silver & copper twist spacers and hung from hand formed sterling ear wires, made from our own sterling ball pins.

These earrings measure 2.5″ (6.35 cm) in total length, including the ear wires.
