I see clip-on earrings at the resale shop all the time.

What a wonderful way to honor your mom’s memory! All of these pieces are stunning but I especially like the round “turquoise” pendant and necklace. Adding the faux leather tassel was genius!

Turn them into 50’s sweater guards..attach a pretty pearl chain between them and a small piece of rubber on the actual clip. That way it doesn’t slide off the sweater. Back in the 50’s sweater guards were the bomb!!

Love what you’ve done with your mom’s pieces and it must be very gratifying to use her jewelry in your work. Don’t you think she’d be pleased? I’m sure she always knew how creative and talented you were.

It always helps to have beautiful components to inspire us and your mom had beautiful taste in jewelry. I love them all, but the green and gold one at the top of this post was so simple and elegant. It really struck me. You did a fabulous job bringing the colors together so cohesively. Best wishes to you!

The pieces you have created are truly, truly striking. While all of them are wonderful, I really love the organic feel and colors used in the first piece, my cup of tea. I can see why you couldn’t part with it. It also seems to me that creating these would be very therapeutic.

I love the different ways you finished the necklaces. Thank for this gorgeous peek at the jewelry of the past, Jillian.
