Ready To Throw In The Towel …

Hello to all my fellow jewelry artists!
I also make cute necklaces from polymer clay.
I first want to say that I have been very hesitant to speak out in this community because I feel like I don’t fit in.
Simply because you ladies make jewelry from expensive gems and components and me… Well my jewelry’s main material only consist of glitter, paint, rhinestones, wood and costume jewelry components.
I guess you can say my handmade jewelry is more geared to the younger crowd. But forget all of that because I am struggling so bad I really need some advice.
My first pairs of earrings back in February.
I first started making handmade jewelry in Feb. of this year and I started off making seed bead bamboo earrings. THOSE SOLD SO WELL I made over $600 in my 1st month JUST from facebook ALONE…
But as time goes on my sales went away, “Where are my customers? Are they not happy? Is it something Im doing wrong??” I keep asking myself to this day.
I’ve tried sales, free shipping, playing with prices etc.
Over the last few months I’ve done jewelry reviews on YouTube which trickled in sales but nothing major.
Then I started making wooden jewelry like this.
I think I’ve tried sooo many different earring designs and materials I got lost in my work and never REALLY stuck to any one niche.
So I’ve tried to get back on track and go back to my bamboo earrings, I get alot of “Your jewelry is SO BEAUTIFUL! I’M IN LOVE” and lots of LIKES on facebook BUT WHERE IS THE SALES?? I still keep asking myself.
No I haven’t tried craft shows because I just haven’t got around to it and I can’t seem to find anyone to throw a jewelry party. I even offer custom party favor bags for little girl parties, I’ve tried marketing online jewelry parties but no luck there! I think my work and ideas are awesome but does that really matter if noone else does?!?!
I like to do artwork as well… These are the Candy Kisses, they are big not not too heavy on the ear.
I am a stay at home mom and I L O V E making jewelry but lately I am just burnt out of ideas, confused, frustrated and feeling the big “F” coming on (((FAILURE))) ;'(
My friends and family seem too busy or just don’t care about helping support my business.
Yes I’m on Etsy but I always cutting my advertising because to me it’s a waste to keep paying for platform and I’m not making any sales 🙁
I really got a message from someone asking will they really get what they purchased? I don’t know if that was because I’m a new unknown business or if my store just looks shady??? 🙁
I haven’t had one complaint from my customers.
I get so many store views and about 20-30 visitors a day BUT WHERE IS THE SALES???
I am heartbroken at giving up on this please help 🙁
