Raven Totem Necklace

I had ordered this unique & intriguing Peruvian made clay raven head while ordering some gemstone beads more than a year ago. I’ve pulled it out & look at it, admiring it, but never really sure what to create with it, so it just stayed put, hanging out with my stash.

A few days ago, some newly ordered Czech glass tube beads of a wonderful antiqued, sagey green started talking to a big chunky bead of black lava stone that had been lying in the creative melange (aka, messy heap) that covers the top of my work table…the green & black were really working together & suddenly I thought of my raven fetish!

A few more earthy bead additions (ancient African granite beads, nuggets of amber & old agate beads), some convoluted oxidized copper wire wrap & yeehaw! Raven Totem was born! 🙂
