I used to save used wine corks until I saw a whole bagful of new ones at my local craft store. If they have them there, they should be pretty easy to find.

Thanks for the compliment. 🙂 The holes were made with the corkscrew, and no I did not add any sealant.

The source was a friend who drinks wine regularly, but I believe I have seen Etsy sellers who sell corks in bunches for mixed media artists.

Alicia, I love the earrings! Did you drill holes into the wine cork? If so, what did you use? Also did you use a sealant material on the cork? Have you found a source for your cork? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I’m trying to get my hands on more corks. I have another idea I want to try but I don’t drink. ~At least not enough to buy my own bottles of wine. 🙂 I need to find a source.

I bet these earrings will get a lot of compliments when your girls wear them – and probably requests to have some made. I love the addition of the hoops and colorful beads – they add a nice liveliness and color to the corks. Thanks for sharing this great upcycling idea! 🙂
