Dianne, thanks so much! Do you buy the same size as your cord? Or should it be a little bigger? Like, if I buy 2mm cord do I get 2mm hole size crimp ends, or 3? Thanks!!

When I make “zipper critters,” I use larger size lobster claw clasps and attach them to the charm with split rings which are sturdy. I originally made them with children in mind so chose charms that would appeal to them, marketing them for use on jackets/sweaters, backpacks, and purses. But then I soon noticed women were buying them too, so I started choosing charms that would also have a more adult appeal. Having said that, they too also liked the cute little green frog and bumblebee charms! They are always a hit during the fall craft tour my husband participates in because people buy them as stocking stuffers.

There are tons of styles, materials and shapes out there. I like them because they give a professional finish and crimps are more secure than glue. Just make sure you get on sized appropriately for your cord. Good luck, and can;t wait to see them finished!
