I do love this rich purple. I found the colour of purple, and the colours in the crystal, very difficult to photograph, to get them true. They still aren’t totally accurate, but it was the best I could do, even with my computer editing. You’re right that statement pieces are often quite heavy. That’s definitely become one of the reasons I like working with the materials that I work with, although I didn’t realize this at the outset.

Storing my components (bits of all kinds of things) in little containers by colour, of colour groupings, really does help me to put a piece together.
