You have certainly inspired me to try alcohol ink. Your pieces are absolutely mezmerizing.
Putting the ink on foil reminds me of the early technique in the US used with costume jewelry, to make the cheaper stones look more expensive. I never would have thought to use it with glass domes. Keep up your beautiful work. You are an inspiration.

These pieces are beautiful Izelle. I’m grateful that you are able to continue your jewelry journey in spite of the site issue. I have osteoarthritis in my hands and throughout so have had to limit my jewelry making due to the pain wire can cause, but I still manage to make some things. I work with water based inks for painting scripture cards and they are a joy. Something about the flow of that ink is mesmerizing. Blessings to you. Thank you for sharing.

What is the source of your glass domes? If they are actual domes, it seems you would have room to add a small found object for a mixed media effect?
