I actually used scrap clay with translucent clay and alcohol ink. There is no metal leaf in first bell earrings. I played around with texturing the clay and after seeing the result it was then shaped into a bell, then rubbed with gold and purple wax. The last round earrings with Cowy shell had a very small piece of silver leaf added with alcohol ink.

The gorgeous bell shaped earrings look perhaps like they include cracked metal leaf and perhaps liquid or translucent clay…. But also looks like maybe a type of fiber is in there also to create that beautiful effect…. would you be willing to tell me if I guessed right? Thank you!

I especially like the bell-shaped ones in the top photo – the coloring reminds me of paper made with dried flowers and leaves. And I really like how you used the cowrie shells in the last pair of earrings.
