Don’t forget to look into there grey carrying cases as well. I splurged and spent a ton of money on them 12-13 years ago and have not been disappointed. Have had only one tray crack and that did not hurt anything. I am not one for an artsy setup. At my age and the fact that I do shows alone I need something easy and fast to set up and tear down. Works for me!!!

I don’t know if you’ve found what you’re looking for or not, but fdjtool.com has plastic trays in those dimensions for under $5 each. I’ve gotten some of their displays and they are pretty good quality, especially for the price.

I found a couple of sources for you to investigate:

  • Fetpak.com has the 2″ plastic trays.
  • A site I’ve never heard of before, jewelrydisplaysandboxes.com , has both the 2″ and 3″ deep trays, but they don’t say what they trays are made from. They look like plastic in the photos, but I’m not positive.
  • Amazon.com has both 2″ and 3″ plastic trays available from various sellers. You can do a search there for something like
    plastic jewelry trays 3″
. . . and then run through your search results.
  • eBay.com has a variety of trays and sizes. I noticed one seller, chic_displays, offers 1″, 1.5″, 2″ and 3″ plastic trays. On eBay you can try searches like
    plastic jewelry tray 2″
. . . and that should get you in the neighborhood.

I hope this helps – and I’d be interested to hear of additional sources of tall trays, as well as where you wind up ordering from after your research! 🙂
