Sorry it was of no help. I wasn’t even thinking about wrapped loops… duh. You do such amazing work, was hoping to lighten the load.

You are so kind to direct me to that tool link. I’ve actually seen it before, but it won’t work for what I’m doing as it clips of the tail of the loop and because I must use such thin gauge wire with these gemstones an open loop like that one will pull open just by the weight of the gemstone swinging around. I do closed wrapped loops where the tail gets wrapped around the straight part of the headpin just below the loop itself to secure each one. That’s why it takes so long to get each one done.
Again thanks for the info, though. I’m always on the look out for tools that will make a job easier.

And this is no exception. It is so beautiful. I found a tool you might be interested in that would speed up making the loops for your dangles;

I hope it is something that would allow you to make more of these.

My appreciation goes out to each of you. And I’ll answer the questions, too.

1. Now that I’ve got the piece finished and I feel that it looks so good, I’ve nearly forgotten the pains of making it. So, yes, I’ll probably do more gemstone garland pieces. Maybe I’ll keep it to one per year, or only do them on commission, but the results are so pretty and slinky. The feel of this around one’s neck is delightful.

2. Oh I’m selling it. I cannot afford to keep it. Not if I want to buy more gemstones.

Lady M

What a beautiful necklace & bracelet. Glad you stuck with it. Now….are you keeping it or selling it? Lol if I did that, it would definitely be MY keeper.

Can you imagine if you had decided to do a longer necklace instead of a choker? 🙂
