Origami Packaging and Display Items

Since I make origami and wire earrings, it was kind of a no-brainer to make origami boxes for packaging. I have a few different ones that I make, but I like these colored ones best because they are flattish and so are easy to pack up and mail.

But sometimes I need something that is a little more dimensional and offers a bit more protection. So I was happy to discover these simple white pillow boxes at Staples. They go with the look of my graphics and they are easy to personalize with my PaperGirl stickers.
About my logo: my husband designed this for me as a riff off the “That Girl” logo, because that is what my hair looks like. And the best part is that it offers so much opportunity for customization.
We just drop art of different origami paper patterns in the circle to make lots of labels with different looks. We also made the logo into a little “Thank You” card that I send to customers with a package, and created an earring card from it as well. Notice how the earrings hang from PaperGirl’s ears? Funny, huh?

But I wanted something a little different for the business cards; I wanted to have a photo of some of my work. So I used an iPad app called MAKR to make these cards. I stack the cards on my origami business card holders (which also work as cellphone stands!).
