I am starting a program with Maasai Women in Kenya to teach them how to recycle plastic bottle and plastic bags. We hope they can make money out of rubbish and clean the environment.

You are both too kind and i will have to be careful that ones head doesnt become too large as i cannot afford to enlarge the household doorways to fit my expanding head.
Kim. Ive loads of ideas but never enough time to get everything tried and tested. Pete despairs enough at my foraging habits so dont encourage me more lol.

Martha. The colour of the plastic came out lovely, it is the original colour too and was really hard to photograph to try to get it right. I either had to go with a good shot of the plastic work or a good shot of the crystals…i decided the former was better as that is the main area. I hate doing the photos though and usually leave it to Pete.

I love the organic feel and can only imagine how fantastic this must look when worn. Well done – beautiful, beautiful piece.

Would love to see what else you create in this style! I’m a fan of experimenting and seeing what works and what doesn’t. Although sometimes it can be quite frustrating 🙂

Its one of my pieces that im most proud of. I love experimenting, i end up with lots of waste when experimenting but its how we learn what does and doesnt work isnt it.

I used an naked flame to get the plastic how i wanted it. Trial and error wasted a lot of plastic until i discovered the best way to do it. A few burnt fingers too but it was worth it as im really pleased with the finished piece.
