FANTASTIC! What a great tip Becky and thanks for sharing it in this forum. I’d made a few masks for household use but hadn’t figured out a way to deal with better shaping around the nose. This may well be a solution for my husband who finds his glasses fog up quickly when he wears a mask.

I love your idea of the wire for the nose bridge. Just a thought–perhaps a spiral jump ring would prevent the stitching from falling out. A couple of additional loops and there you have it.

Thank you everyone! Using the looper tool creates very clean ends. Now my favorite pliers are being used to pull threads out. Sewing masks for my city. Anyway…makers are makers. Be well, be safe. Beads can wait( maybe ).

I am doing this as well, but as an extra precaution I loop the ends
1 1/2 times into a small spiral. I find it helps prevent the sharp ends from being exposed.

I have heard of using pipe cleaners or thin strips of thin metal, as in a soda can etc.
