Newbie Needing Guidance

I have had to turn my hobby of making jewelry into a way of making money due to having a stroke in April this year. I am 46 years old and have a 17 year old son, I have had to move in with my mother due to not being able to work.

I have pieces in a local shop which sells about 6 to 7 items a month and now I have had to place my gems online at Artfire. I have had it up since August 12th and have only sold 1 item.

Please give some guidance and advice. I am told that my work is nice and reasonably priced, but it is not going anywhere.

I understand the economy is weak and jewelry making and selling is very competitive, but I am going to have to cancel my site mid October because I can’t pay the monthly fee without selling something.

I have been a huge fan of  this site for a long time. Rena and the team have taught me lots of things.
