I get so excited to see the end result I forgot the goal of featuring the jewels which did get a bit lost.

JMJ is such an encouraging place where helping each other grow is the goal and I think that is a truly unique and inspiring place in the online community.

What you might want to consider is laying the jewelry completely on the beige part of the print so your work really pops off the page rather than somewhat blending into the print.

Your dogs are lucky they are so cute. Pets always seem to want some part in the crafting process and it’s not usually helpful but is funny!

I hope to collect more beads and backdrops as we travel from NY to OR and CA.

Hope your summer plans include some R&R and a few jems.

I crop out the jewelry in the book picture, replacing it with my own. The colors bring my creations alive.

That antique grape paper is gorgeous. It’s fun to use a print or painting as a jumpstart for jewelry creativity, and your summer earrings and necklace beautifully reflect the paper artistry that inspired them. Thanks for sharing, Teri!
