Do you see these two innocent dogs?

The troublemakers

The troublemakers

No these are the guilty girls! My dogs relax in my spare room when I leave them at home, the same room that doubles as my craft room.

One sad day, they ate several antique books and numerous vintage prints that I thought were of no value to dogs, I just loved them as props for jewelry photography.

My search to replace the consumed prints started on Etsy. I found the most gorgeous 200-year-old hand made paper with hand painted grapes in Spain.

When it arrived, the print inspired me to make a summer jewelry set with the same color palette.

The photos turned out beautifully, next I sent photos and the story to the vendor who was thrilled to see the print again.

She told me to keep the troublemakers because they are adorable.

Fresh summer inspired jewelry, a new friend in Europe, all of the excitement of summer activities and produce are just around the corner. Bad dogs still stay in my craft room, I am now wiser where I leave my props and delighted with the end result of my misfortune.
