Some time last year I discovered these beautiful little Swarovski Crystals called Montees.

A Montee is a crystal mounted on a backing with two channels on the backside so that you can secure the Montee to your piece. I love a little shine in my pieces.

This is the Purple Montee embellished bracelet that started the whole thing.

So now that I had the Montees, I needed to learn how to use them. Off I went to search on the web, and found a very talented lady with a tutorial for a Montee embellished bracelet.

This is a closeup of the beautiful pendant with the Montee in the center.

I was thrilled to make my bracelet and finished it quickly. I was so inspired by the bracelet that I just couldn’t stop there. I started playing with my purple crackled beads, Montees and seed beads and made a ring to go with the bracelet.

Now I needed a pendant to match the bracelet and if you make a pendant, you must make earrings to match – right?

I love the way the Pendant and Earrings look together.

So when I finally stopped I had designed and created a whole set. It’s amazing what a little shiny crystal can inspire you to do.

I love my jewelry set and get compliments every time I wear them.
