My New Checkout Stand!

I’ve been wanted a checkout stand for some time but haven’t wanted to spend the money. With a little thinking and a visit to the Habitat for Humanity Re-store, my wish has come true!
I bought two louver doors for $20 and cut them to 36″ high. Then added the hinges to the center, repositioned two other hinges and removed a few slats to add the shelves.
I attached the skirting with Velcro (this saves me from repainting them and worrying about scratches). The shelves are melamine boards (I also added a small peg underneath each end of the shelves to keep them from sliding out if bumped).
And Voila!
I can’t wait to try it out at my next show!
