My Always Evolving Jewelry Booth

I have always enjoyed setting up my booth for a show or market. It probably started when I was little and my favorite playtime was “Store” I would set up it all up and make my friends come shop.

My best booth tips:
* Curtains. I think this softens a tent and makes it inviting to enter. Use bungee cords to hang curtains in your tent. easy up/easy down. I also like to change my curtain color based on the seasons.

* Table covers. take a pretty sheer curtain and knot the corners. Makes it look more tailored than just hanging down. You can also layer this over a regular table cloth/cover for multiple colors/textures.

* Wall Hangers – these are usually thought about to hang hats/coats/purses, but I tie them to the tent frame in the front corners and hang long necklaces on. People stop to look and usually come in and shop.

* Fold up furniture. I use iron baker shelves and they have lots of space to put displays on at a good height for people to look at. Then they just fold up to store.

Multi Level Display – I use paper covered boxes to put busts on, wood candlesticks with nails in them to hang necklaces and large bowls for people to pick around in.

I have been doing shows and markets for 5 years and have many people compliment my booth arrangement and many other vendors have gotten inspired to change up their booth. It helps me keep my display fresh and allows me to promote different pieces week after week.
