Medieval Saturn Necklace

Since Rena asked, here’s a photo of one of my most recent pieces.

I LOVE “Saturn” beads and love the kind of loop ended ‘stalk’ with wire wrapped around it.

This was just one of those “came to me” designs. I had to play a bit to settle on how to make the chain, with the infinity or figure 8 links and then double jump rings to give it all some heft.

The last bit was to patina it and rub off some of the darkening.

A little medieval looking, don’t you think?
