“Acorn Necklace”

About this time last year, I fell in love with memory wire.

Yes, I’ve bangled excessively!

For the past few months, I’ve been thinking “what else can I do with this wire?”

So I’ve turned my eye to earrings and necklaces.

The attached photo is of a very simple yet fun piece to make with the fall weather in mind.

I’m terrible at stringing, yet have lots of bead/end caps – SO – I took a small piece of necklace sized memory wire and strung some black akoya pearls together with brushed silver caps, turned the wire ends to tiny loops and added some pretty chain.

Voila – my “Acorn Necklace”!
