I am so sorry about your mom,I lost my mom 6 years ago. She was my best friend and I have all her jewelry and I am also repurposing all her pieces. Just think how lucky we were to have had them as long as we did, my mom was 92 almost 93 when I lost her.Keep creating because it takes your mind to another place.

Oh LuElla, so sorry for your loss. What a fabulous idea with the shadow box. When my Mom passed in 2015, I inherited all her jewelry and it’s still in the original boxes. This has given me Inspiration to get that jewelry out and displayed in our home. My eye homed in on that big “J” in the center. I have a big “A” I’ll use for Audrey’s keepsake shadow box. I miss her everyday, and the blessing of reduced pain does come with time. Take care of yourself. Blessings to you.

SO very sorry for your loss, it’s been ten years since I lost my mom and it still feels so current. It’s a loss you really don’t get over, we always want more time…just another day or hour to visit once more. Your display is a beautiful way to always feel close. I talk to my folks every day.

Luella, One of the services I offered was to take beloved jewelry pieces & redesign them into something the lady herself would wear, in rememberance. You could do a Statement necklace gathering several together. I used to always wear tiny earrings but when I lost my Mom, then I looked at her collection & thought “what am I waiting for?” I think of her every time I wear a pair I know she liked, and they were never tiny lil ones
