I recently ran across some costume jewelry on sale, and thought it might be possible to turn them into steampunk pieces.

Holes were drilled into the costume pendants, then watch gears and watch bodies were wired on.

The octopus was also altered from a pendant to a brooch. The watch parts added up to about $2 per piece, and it took around 45 minutes each to put them together.
