Charles Lewton-Brain, the genius who invented this technique is AMAZING! Just bought his book “Fold Forming”. It’s more sculptural that jewelry oriented in it’s format however, this book features 30 years of his research in the subject of fold forming. And the best part? No fire scale ! This is signifigant!
Your cuff is Soooooo lovely! Thanks for sharing it. I’m tinkering with a similar idea for a cuff in my studio. Would you mind sharing your process and the tools you used? I only have a planishing hammer and raw hide mallett at the moment so I’m very limited in the forging and forming tool department. I’m so excited for your lovely piece! Thanks for sharing.

The fold forming creates intriguing designs, and the finished pieces could be great jewelry for both guys and gals. I love the pattern in the patina on the last bracelet!
