Macrame was something I learned in Girl Guides. I have always loved the look of it…whether as plant hangers, an owl wall hanging, belts or jewellery. I love it has made a huge come back. Not that I need more ideas…. Still, I may just have to make some bracelets for a few friends. Thanks for sharing! I love how blinged out your bracelets are.

Although I grew up in the 70’s, I never learned any craft except a bit of embroidery from my grandmother. My mom liked “playing” outdoors. So when I learned kumihimo, I wanted to learn macrame. I agree with you! There are so many cord choices & beads. It’s a ton of fun too! Your bracelets are gorgeous. You’ve inspired me to finish the macrame necklace I’m working on!

Thanks, Rena. I love playing with color and textures. A few of the black bracelets with stones are made with satin cord. I also made a couple of bracelets this summer with suede cord but wasn’t satisfied with my glue to the cut ends. I don’t want to add a clasp finish because the slider knot makes the size adjustable. I have just purchased a tube of GS Hypo Cement and ordered a thread zapper. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I love these, Sheila! They’re just as great individually as they are stacked. I like that you make them in beads and cords of all colors – and in styles all the way from casual fun to jeweled luxe. What a great way to build a bracelet collection! Your post is inspiring me to knot a bracelet too!
