I stumbled across an tutorial a couple of years ago using eggshells to make textured pendants.

Had a ‘wow’ moment and decided to play with this new idea.

The goal was to create sort of a mosaic or tile effect.

I went a bit further and crushed some eggshells into a slightly finer texture, bought some small wood shapes onto which I painted a layer of mod podge and sprinkle the crushed eggshells on top.

After it set up to dry I dropped alcohol inks on top of the shells which created a watercolor effect.

Lastly, I added a couple more mod podge coatings to seal and give a nice finish. Too much fun!

These are some different effects I produced using ribbons, chainmaille and unique findings to finish the necklaces.
