Leopardskin Jasper & Copper Wire Wrap Art Necklace

My stone & metal man (aka, husband!) has been creating pairs of “mini slabs” from a variety of hand cut stone for many years.

He recently created some larger, focal sized pieces for necklaces, one of which was of a favorite of ours, leopardskin jasper, with its gorgeous play of colors & fascinating patterns.

This piece is held in an abstract frame of oxidized copper wire weaving and strung with copper & gemstone beads that draw on the jasper’s colors…light & dark natural amber, sunstone and red & leopardskin jasper.

The necklace closes with a hand crafted toggle clasp of hammered & oxidized copper.
