If you are part of any Etsy teams and have favorite shops you could share them on your page. Also you can share Treasuries that you love. I hope this helps.

I have a small jewelry business on Etsy and a Facebook page. I don’t have a new item to post each day, so I am unsure as to what I should post?

People get annoyed at over-exposure. There are a number of overly eager people I’ve made “invisible” on facebook because their constant sales posts were so annoying. On the other hand, there are several people who post only a few times a week who seem to fare better. Varying the time of day makes sense. I’ve also been told that it’s a good idea to experiment with the particular days; when you find the day that works best for you, stick with it, be sure to post each week on that day.

This is because people’s feed can push your post so far down they don’t see it or they aren’t logged on when you post.
They said that you can also use the same post more than once )again because not everyone sees it)
Also they suggested changing the time of day when you post to get to more people.

If you are looking to build your business that may be a site to consider. Many teams support each other through Facebook and other social media. What I love about that is those are the shoppers who love to purchase handmade since they are handmade sellers themselves.

I have invited people to like my page, but not too many responded. So I will try your tip and share on my timeline.

Facebook makes it so that the only people seeing your post are those who have recently interacted with your page. I have close to 400 likes on my business page, but statistics show that only between 10 and 20 people usual see my posts. I’m just about to give up on Facebook, I seem to be having better luck these days by posting on Pinterest.

There was a couple on the TV show Shark Tank who made a killing just using facebook. Wish they’d said how! I do know that it’s way too easy to do overkill there, and that’s a turnoff. I’m told once a week is great, twice at most.

Most of the people there already know me and trust my recommendations to check out my products or link to pages and articles.

ALWAYS tell them what you want them to do! I have done some consulting in SEO and it’s imperative that you give the viewer/visitor some direction.
For example, “Like my page” Go to my Jewelry Shop” “Visit my website”
If you’re a child of the 80’s you’ll remember Wok With Yan, he always said “come to my seminar!” I can still hear it, I think he was ahead of his time.

The point is…. Facebook owns your list there, they make the rules. Direct them to your shop, mailing list or website as often as possible where YOU make the rules!
Cheers!

Then people like it and then other people who are friends with THEM but not friends with me, sometimes also like it and then may go and like my Jewelry Page.
Facebook wants to make money from businesses and so they restrict how many people can see your posts and try to get you to pay for “boosting” the post. But I have found that the more I share my business page stuff on my personal page, the better those posts do. Good luck!
