I know most people like to purchase brand new items for their homes, gardens or gifts.

There are a few people like me who love all items with a back story, a former life.

So it is with my jewelry creations, paintings, and garden art.

For me, there is a certain type of beauty in the found and forgotten items lurking in a junk drawer or discovered at a flea market.
What will you do with your grandma’s buttons? Mine end up in a junk chime.

I love these, Teri! Half the fun of seeing clever creations like these is identifying what the various parts used to be. I love the idea of “jewelry” for dressing up the home and garden. Such a fun way to use vintage items and to be able to see and enjoy them. And I totally agree that items with a back story pull people in to find out more about the repurposed creation! Thank you for sharing these with us!
Thanks Rena and staff for providing a place for (unique?) jewelry like this!
JMJ is a wonderful place for artisans and crafters to experiment and grow while recieving great encouragement and exposure.

Teri, thank you so much for your lovely comment! I always love seeing what people create with jewelry supplies and other odds and ends! 🙂
Teri, Great pics and great use of odds and ends! I’ve been stock piling my own stash of bits and pieces to do wind chimes/fan pulls etc and you’ve given me a few more ideas 🙂
Inspiration to clean out my cupboards!
