I’ve spent A LOT of time and dedication in order to gain confidence in my work… And it’s paying off!
Pam – it takes a lot of patience, but if you figured out crocheting, stick with it and you’ll eventually catch on… i recommend trying the box, byzantine or european 4-1… my first weave was the Box chain…
Cheryl – the bracelet is fairly heavy compared to most of my other pieces. The jasper tiles added most of the weight, but I also used copper rings, which also added a lot of weight.

I also do chain maille, and have some of these rectangle jasper, this is a good idea to use them. Is the bracelet heavy?

I’ve been trying to learn some of the basic weaves myself, and I figued that being an avid crocheter, it couldn’t be that hard to pick up weaving chain maille…needless to say..this is a whole different animal, and I am amzed that you’ve learned the techniques in just a year or so and already are able to come up with your own pattern. Congrats!
